Can aluminum packaging be used in the microwave?

Yes! Studies carried out in several countries, such as the USA, Canada, England, Denmark, Switzerland, and here in Brazil, ensure that it is safe to use within the recommended standards. It has already been tested in experimental kitchens around the world and approved as safe! Especially Wyda.
Aluminum packaging is part of everyday life, just like the microwave, which makes defrosting and heating easier. Together, they work very well! Just keep the aluminum 3 cm away from the appliance’s walls, remove the lid, and make sure it covers the entire contents of the package.
Aluminum reflects microwaves, so you can use strips on the edges of meats, fish, and poultry to cook everything evenly. Just remember to place the container in the center of the turntable, without touching the walls of the oven. And when removing, use a glove to avoid burning yourself!
The shiny side of aluminum foil is smoother, so food sticks less, in addition to reflecting more heat, which may slightly increase cooking time. However, using either side does not affect cooking or food preservation.
Remove the lid before placing the container in the microwave. When defrosting and heating directly, the food preserves all its nutritional properties, as if it were freshly prepared!
