Rules for using the aluminum package in the microwave oven.

  1. The package must not touch the walls of the microwave oven while it is at work, so that it does not cause sparks. The minimum recommended distance is 3cm on all sides.
  2. Use only package up to 3.5 cm deep. Deeper package must be placed in a glass container or refractory with water to supplement the heating in a water bath.
  3. Fill up the package completely to ensure that heating is uniform. Heating portions smaller than the package, leaving some parts empty, may represent risk.
  4. Use packages of aluminum in the microwave oven with the turntable, placing the container in the center so that there is no slipping, which could bring it closer than 3cm to the walls of the appliance.
  5. You should not refreeze any food because its quality may be compromised, regardless of the type of package used.
  6. Before taking the package to the microwave oven, it is necessary to remove the protective cover, so that the microwaves can act on the food. In its place, use a coat of waxed paper or a special cover for microwave oven that will retain the steam and give uniformity to the heating.
  7. Do not use two containers in the microwave oven at the same time.
